Hotel Alpina Kandersteg, Kandersteg

The hotel is perfectly situated close to the gondola, restaurants, bars, and shops with a lovely view of the main street and mountains. The rooms are spacious and offer a wonderful view, but the price could be better. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, except for one instance of impatience. The location is beautiful and offers plenty to see and do, although it's a bit far from the train station. The dining options are varied, with high-quality Swiss dishes, but some breakfast options were missing. The facilities are well-kept and offer a pleasant stay.

My stay at the hotel was a delightful experience overall. The rooms, although of an older style, were very clean and cozy, complete with a beautiful balcony. The service provided was friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome and valued. The location, although a bit far from the train station, offered a quiet and scenic setting surrounded by beautiful mountains. The dining experience was satisfying with a variety of delicious options. However, there were some minor drawbacks, like the smell in the room not being great and the overgrown garden in comparison to the past.
